Indigenous Resource Guide
POGO’s First Nations, Inuit, Métis and Urban Indigenous Children with Cancer Initiative Core Group was established in 2019 and is committed to improving equity and cultural safety in care for Indigenous children with cancer and their families. In 2022, this group developed a resource list for pediatric oncology healthcare professionals of all disciplines who wish to expand their understanding of the rich and varied experiences of First Nations, Inuit, Métis and Urban Indigenous patients and families, to foster culturally safe, equitable care.
